Krazy James Used Boat Books

Krazy James is just like you, a boater. Actually to be more honest a bay sailor. I own a 33 foot Cheoy Lee Offshore. I enjoy working on my boat even if most of the time I don't get much accomplished. But I enjoy reading about boats and how to repair them. That's one of the reasons I started this business. But I digress sometimes. What I want to explain is why I'm also selling used books.

About two years ago I was looking for a book that was out of print. One written by Allan Vaitses called "Covering Wooden Boats with Fiberglass". So I had a company that looks for books hunt it down for me. Six months later, after I had even forgotten about this book, I received a letter telling me that this book had been found. The cost $60.00. I paid the money and soon had the book. In fact it's in front of me as I write this. The book appears brand new. Even though it says in the front published in 1981. My friend Tom Wolfersberger, a co-worker, said it looked like they printed this book for me. And really for the amount I paid it's possible. By the way, Tom is one of the legions that has helped me with this web page. Also my main web man Bryon Patt of allnighthost.com, Eric Engler a co-worker, Chuck Cowen a co-worker, and my main squeeze, I mean proofreader, Lois Ostrov. There I go digressing again. Also I would like to thank Mr. John F. Ludway cartoonist/artist, who is retired from the Cleveland Plain Dealer, for my great Krazy James logo.

These used books are some of my own, some new books that are out of print, and older books I've picked up in my travels. Look through these. You may find a bargain. Don't forget you will still have to pay shipping.

Oh, by the way. After starting my web page I discovered that the book I paid $60.00 for is now in paperback for $22.00.
